Also in this product field, an orientation towards new technologies is essential. Especially in the car body area, more and more plastic parts are used due to their high rigidity (glass fibre). Together with the SMA technology and the hybrid technology, these requirements are in increased demand in the airbag and front end area. In addition to the hybrid technology, the back injection molding of textiles and embossing technologies are among the preferred fields of application, both in the door area and in the cockpit area. We face all these new requirements unconditionally. Not least due to this fact, we could already establish considerable know-how during the implementation of complex problem situations in these new technology sectors. In particular the growing cost pressure within the design environment induced us to develop new strategies. This resulted in an own feature technology. Within the framework of this process chain, our MWF software products allow, for example, to insert holes, hole drawings, screw connections and temperature control circuits within the CATIA design tool as well as other CAM interfaces. Another essential step towards “paperlean manufacturing” was realised in this way. Using experiences |
